For example, a 4" thick piece of foam that needs 33 lbs to compress 1" and return to 4" thickness has a compression rating of 33 lbs or (ild) - indention load deflection.

Our foam sheets are sold per sheet, not per yard. Please avoid using a box cutter to open the foam. Instead, use a ballpoint pen or pencil to make a small incision and then tear from there. Our foam is durable and can last 7 to 10 years.
