Our foams are proudly manufactured in the USA! The 1.8 High density foam has a compression rate of 44 lbs, meaning it will compress by 1 inch for every 44 lbs of weight applied. This type of foam is designed to provide a firm feeling, perfect for those who prefer not to sink into their couches. It also boasts a 100% recovery rate and is highly durable, making it suitable for long-term use.

To ensure that the foam is protected and does not come into direct contact with the fabric, it is recommended to add Dacron, a polyester batting. This batting reduces the friction that foam can cause, thereby minimizing wear and tear on the fabric. Additionally, it helps fill in any slackness in the upholstery, resulting in a better appearance for your furniture and cushions.

When you receive your foam packages, it is important to open them immediately. Do not let the foam sit unopened for more than 1 week. To safely open the package, avoid using a box cutter. Instead, use a ball point pen or pencil to make a small incision and break it open from there.

Our foams have a remarkable longevity and can last anywhere between 7 to 10 years. When unpacking the foam, it is advised to allow at least 2 days for it to breathe and regain its original size and form.
